Kristin Zinkl serves as the Managing Director of Growth and Engagement at COVE: Center of Visual Expertise. Since joining the organization in 2018, Kristin has played a key role in shaping COVE’s business development and marketing strategy, helping to grow awareness of Visual Literacy as a practical and powerful tool for improving hazard recognition and reducing risk in the workplace.

With more than 18 years of experience in the safety consulting industry, Kristin brings deep expertise in connecting organizations with innovative approaches to safety improvement. Prior to joining COVE, she spent a decade with DEKRA Insight (formerly BST), where she led strategic marketing initiatives that helped advance thought leadership in safety performance and culture.

At COVE, Kristin leads initiatives that drive engagement with clients, partners, and associations across a wide range of industries. She focuses on aligning COVE’s work with organizations committed to operational excellence, leadership development, and proactive risk mitigation—championing the belief that what we see shapes how we think, act, and lead.

Kristin lives in Austin, Texas with her family and enjoys lake life in the beauty of the Texas Hill Country. In her free time, she loves cooking, gardening, and making the most of the outdoors with family and friends.
